Abandoned Tea Garden

We visited the Big Buddha on Lantau Island yesterday, and explored the area a bit only to find a tiny abandoned village and tea restaurant. Apparently it was the only tea garden in Hong Kong, owned by an English lawyer who employed recently released prisoners. The buildings were bunkhouses for the workers, a kitchen, and the restaurant’s patio. From what I could find, it’s been abandoned for several years at the least, with the restaurant itself lasting longer than the rest.
